Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vinktar. By creating an account you agree to them. Plain-English summaries head each section; the section text is what binds.

The service

Vinktar provides product analytics and error tracking: you send events and error reports from your applications, and we store, process and display them for your team. We may improve or change features over time; we will not materially degrade the service you pay for during a paid period.

Your account and acceptable use

• You are responsible for activity under your workspace and for your API keys.
• You must have a lawful basis (and any required consents) for the end-user data your applications send us.
• Don't send us data you are not allowed to process, attempt to disrupt the service, probe other tenants, or resell access without an agreement.

Fees and fair use

• Plans are flat-priced over fair-use caps. We never invoice overage. Past the cap you receive notification emails; sustained use beyond twice the cap pauses ingest until an upgrade or the next month.
• Annual plans are billed yearly at ten months' price.
• Downgrades and cancellation apply at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Non-payment never deletes your data: the workspace decays to the free tier and its limits.

Your data

Your event data is yours. We process it only to provide the service, and we delete it per your plan's retention window or when you delete a project or workspace. We do not sell it or use it to build advertising profiles.

Availability and support

We operate the service with care but provide it "as is", without an uptime SLA on any tier. Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data you have not sent us the deletion of which we did not cause.

Termination

You can delete your workspace at any time, which deletes its data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to workspace owners at least 14 days before they take effect.
